
Staying fit and healthy has become must for every person’s list these days. It is pleasing to note how many men and women have become more conscious regarding their overall physical fitness as well as faithfully maintaining a proper diet and religiously exercising to keep healthy. - Everything starts with maintaining a well balanced diet. You should know what the right weight is for your height and age. Consult a nutritionist or your family doctor for advice on what foods you should avoid and what you should load up on as well as advice on what kind of exercises you should do to stay fit.
- Consume eight to ten glasses of water every day. While this is so cliché, it doesn’t make it any less true. Drinking lots of water helps you maintain a clean body system as well as flushing out unwanted toxins from your system.
- Quit any unhealthy habits. You know that cigarettes are jokingly called coffin nails right? Or how about cancer sticks? And the same thing for alcoholic drinks. Get them away from you as fast as you can and you will live longer and healthier.
- Vitamin supplements help you maintain a certain amount of vitamins in your system and it helps your body replace the nutrients and vitamins you lose during your work outs.
- Make exercise a fitness habit. Even if it is just walking to the store instead of riding in your car, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Unless of course, you live on the 35th floor of your condo building.
- Stay away from stressful situations. If you cannot, make it a point to set one day aside to sit back and relax and just chill out. Read a good book, take a bubble bath, treat yourself to a massage or go out and see a movie. Anything to wash away the stresses of an entire day.
- Use sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun’s harmful rays. Especially during the summer.
- Visit your dentist regularly.
